Objectives:

  7. Provide opportunities for children to develop their physical skills, such as balance, coordination, and fine motor skills, through active play and exploration.

Activities:

-Nature walks: Children will explore the natural environment, observe and identify different plants and animals, and learn about their habitats, adaptations, and life cycles.

-Outdoor games: Children will engage in physical activities such as scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and team-building games that promote cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

-Art and craft: Children will create nature-based art and crafts using natural materials, such as leaves, flowers, and twigs, and learn about different art techniques and styles.

-Campfire cooking: Children will learn how to prepare and cook simple meals and snacks using outdoor cooking equipment, and practice food hygiene and safety.

-Shelter building: Children will learn how to construct shelters using natural materials, such as branches and leaves, and explore different designs and structures.

-Environmental projects: Children will engage in projects that aim to improve the local environment and raise awareness of local ecology.

Teachers will observe and document children's learning and development through photos and videos. (With parental permission.)
